The brief
The first thing anyone sees
The front bed was bare, and what was planted in it was dying. Everything else about the house was in good order.
A front yard is the only part of a property that every visitor, every neighbor and every passerby sees, and it was the one part letting the house down. The fix was new hedges with the structure to hold it: landscape rock through the beds, and a stacked-stone wall to give the largest bed a proper edge instead of a line mown into the grass.

Both pairs are shot from the same position, so nothing is flattered by a change of angle.
